Matt Chapman’s first tip on Saturday at Newmarket on Day 3 comes in the first live ITV race in the bet365 Mile Handicap. The ITV Racing pundit is siding with Royal Dubai for trainer Marco Botti each-way at 5/1 odds with the best horse racing betting sites.

Royal Dubai should go nicely here for Marco Botti and Neil Callan. The cheap purchase won nicely at Chelmsford two runs ago and then upped his game when second at Chester over a trip a little shorter.

He stayed on well that day suggesting a mile is what he wants so must have an each-way chance if repeating the effort.

But he was fancied that day on the back of a decent success at Haydock and Chapman suspects he didn’t run to form on the soft ground.

The big one now. The featured race of the entire Festival. It’s the July Cup. For the showpiece race, Matt Chapman is siding with Little Big Bear as one of the favourites at odds of 7/2 with the best UK sports betting sites.

If Little Big Bear runs he will be doing so having missed six crucial days of work. But Chapman is not that worried, as how unfit can he have got between now and Royal Ascot?
