Manchester City saw off Burnley in the opening game of the Premier League. Manchester City Premier League title odds now 8/11.

Erling Haaland started where he left off last season by scoring after just four minutes. A well worked corner routine landed at Haaland’s feet and he smashed the ball home.

Burnley looked a threat after Haaland’s opener, but City still continued to be dangerous with the ball. Haaland’s second goal was a thing of beauty.

Despite leading 2-0 at half-time, with Haaland scoring both, Pep Guardiola wasn’t happy with his star striker.

Manchester City made it three during the second half. Rodri smashed the ball home after a some scrappy play in the box.

Manchester City Premier League title odds sets them out as clear favourites to claim yet another title. Their odds are currently at 8/11. To put this into perspective, their nearest rivals Arsenal, are 5/1.

To many, it’s Manchester City’s title to lose this season. Their quality is clear to see for everyone. With Haaland up top, they’ll take some beating this season.
