Liverpool are still in pursuit of what would be an extraordinary treble winning season under Jurgen Klopp in his final year in charge at Anfield and ahead of the last ten games of the season, we take a look at Liverpool’s Premier League run-in record under Klopp during his eight years at the club.

Liverpool Run-In Record Under Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp has just ten Premier League matches left remaining as Liverpool manager and with the Reds challenging for another title, we take a look at Klopp’s record in the final games of the campaign.

There are three season’s under Klopp that Liverpool have gone unbeaten in their final 11 games of the season, including their past two years in the league.

Liverpool’s record under Klopp in the last 11 games of the season has been phenomenal across the last three years – with just one loss out of a possible 33 games.

Despite maintaining a 100% record in the final matches of the campaign on three occasions, Liverpool have only won the title once under Klopp and in that 2020/21 season they lost three of their last 11 in a tense end to the campaign.

This year’s Premier League run in is one of the toughest the Reds have ever faced and if they are to keep up with Arsenal and Manchester City in the title race they will have to win some difficult games.

Manchester City’s run-in record under Pep Guardiola is equally iron-clad, with the Spaniard masterminding 59 wins out of a possible 77 in the same time span as show above.

Liverpool still have matches against Manchester United, Tottenham, Aston Villa and a Merseyside derby against Everton to contend with so a Premier League title in Klopp’s final season is certainly going to be a tricky challenge.

If the Reds can put together a similar record in the run-in to their last two seasons they will certainly stand a chance at the title, with Arsenal and Manchester City still yet to clash at the Etihad in what could be a title decider at the end of March.

Liverpool of course still have the Europa League to navigate and the UEFA competition could put a distraction on their title charge with a tie against Bayer Leverkusen coming up.
