Kevin Blake Tips For Betfair Chase: Bravemansgame Expected To Be Much Sharper This Time
The main Kevin Blake tip for the weekend racing comes at Haydock Park in the Betfair Chase (3pm). Where he thinks the Paul Nicholls-trained BRAVEMANGAME is ready to get back to winning ways.
The Paul Nicholls camp have won the Betfair Chase six times over the years, including three times with Kauto Star and Blake is expecting the Ditcheat handler to make it ‘ seven heaven’ on Saturday with Bravemansgame.
His 8 year-old was last seen running second in the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby earlier this month – looking all over the winner until fluffing the last fence and letting the Mouse Morris-trained Gentlemansgame in to take the race
Blake, however, feels the Nicholls King George VI winner from last season will be much sharper for that run and has him as a much better horse than last year’s Betfair Chase winner Protektorat.
Plus he also feels – based on past seasons – Bravemansgame is a horse that’s taken a big jump forward after his first runs of the campaign.
There’s A Small Question Mark Over The Form Of The Dan Skelton String
Betfair pundit Kevin Blake went onto say in his ‘weekend briefing’ video (watch below) “I think Bravemansgame will win and win well. Plus, this course and distance will suit him well.”
“Regarding Protektorat – There’s a small question mark over the form of the Dan Skelton string. He’s also making his seasonal return of the season and I just don’t think he’s as good a horse as Bravemansgame.”
