Joao Felix has sent a clear message to Chelsea ahead of Mauricio Pochettino’s arrival as Blues boss this Summer, with the forward’s loan expiring after this weekend’s final Premier League match.

Chelsea take on Manchester United tomorrow night, before finishing their season at home against Champions League opposition in Newcastle on Sunday.

Although they have suffered through one of the most difficult seasons in the clubs history, Chelsea have enjoyed some glimmers of hope throughout the campaign and with Felix being one of the better players in the squad this year, the Blues will be hoping to keep him this summer.

Felix has spoken very highly of Chelsea and made his intentions for next season clear ahead of the impending arrival of new boss Mauricio Pochettino.

“I don’t know yet my future. But these four or five months, I love it.

“It’s a top club. Everyone in the club was very good to me, my team-mates [have been] unbelievable. And I really like to be here.”

Felix has enjoyed a mixed start to his Premier League career this season, with Chelsea struggling in the league and looking likely to finish mid table after a nightmare campaign.

The Portuguese forward managed three goals in his 13 league games this season, and after taking some time to settle into the league, Felix now looks at home at Stamford Bridge where he will be hoping to stay next season.

If Chelsea want to keep their man next season then they will need to pay around £88 million to Atletico in summer, but this price could prove to be too steep for the London side who won’t even have European football next season.
