Gabriel Martinelli Agrees New Arsenal Contract

Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli has reportedly agreed a new 4.5 year contract at the Emirates.

According to a report, it is understood that Brazilian forward Martinelli has agreed to a brand new contract with Arsenal.

The 21-year-old’s previous deal ran until 2024, with the Gunners having the option to extend his contract for a further two years.

A fresh deal is in the process of being finalised, which would see Martinelli remain at the Emirates until the summer of 2027.

The youngster previously spoke about his desire to remain in north London, saying all that he needed was a pen to sign a contract.

“This is my club, I love to be here, I love the city, I love the club, I love everything about Arsenal.”

He arrived in England during the summer of 2019, joining Arsenal from Ituano.

Since making his debut, he has made 110 first team appearances, scoring 25 goals, and providing 16 assists.

This season, the forward has seven goals and three assists to his name.

Martinelli joins fellow Brazilian Gabriel in remaining with the club, as the defender put pen-to-paper on a new contract last year.

This would no doubt be a huge boost to Arsenal, who are top of the Premier League table.

According to Premier League betting sites, the Gunners are now favourites to lift the title at the end of the season.
