The 2024 renewal of the Carabao Cup final sees two teams very familiar with each other in this competition go head-to-head at Wembley Stadium to land the first bit of domestic silverware on offer this season.
Since 2011, Chelsea and Liverpool have faced off in the Carabao Cup on five occasions – with Sunday’s clash the sixth. Two have gone to the Blues, two went to the Reds and they drew once in the semi-finals during the 2014/15 season.

Liverpool have dominated this match-up over the years, winning two Wembley finals against Chelsea and I expect them to make it three in a row with triumph on Sunday.
Chelsea have seen improved form in the last while but it was only three weeks ago that Liverpool beat them 4-1 at Anfield in a terrific display.
