Leading bookmaker bet365 are now NON-RUNNER, NO BET on ALL 28 Cheltenham Festival races – meaning if you have an ante-post 2023 Cheltenham bet and your horse doesn’t run in that race – you’ll get your stake back.

2023 Cheltenham Festival: bet365 Go Non-Runner, No Bet on ALL 28 Races

Top UK bookmaker bet365 had been offering non-runner, no bet on only the main championship races, but from Monday 30th January 2023 have now extended their offer to go NON RUNNER, NO BET on ALL 28 Cheltenham Festival races at the 2023 meeting

With the 2023 Cheltenham Festival getting going on Tuesday 14th March, there is still around 6 weeks until the tapes go up for the first race – the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle – but bet365 have decided to offer ‘non-runner, no bet’ as punters start to ramp-up their ante-post Cheltenham Festival betting.

Non Runner, No Bet Is Great When Horses Have Multiple Entries

More and more each year, trainers and connections hedge their bets in terms of which races to target their horses at. Many will be versatile enough to run in two or even three races (not them all), so this can be a headache for punters with trainers often keeping their cards close to their chest.

However, with bet365 now going NON RUNNER, NO BET on ALL the 28 Cheltenham Festival races, this doesn’t matter anymore.

If you get it wrong and a horse either doesn’t run at all or is rerouted to another Festival contest – bet365 will refund your stake. So, there’s nothing to lose now – get ante-post Cheltenham punting with the safety net of bet365’s non-runner, no bet.

What Does Non-Runner, No Bet at the 2023 Cheltenham Festival Mean?

In short, non-runner, no bet means that if you place a bet on a horse in a certain race at the 2023 Cheltenham Festival and it DOESN’T RUN in that particular race then you’ll be refunded your stake.

Most novice punters will probably think this would be the case anyway, but the normal rules when betting ante-post (weeks/months before a race) is that if the horse doesn’t run, then you lose your stake.

It’s only if you place a bet on the day of the race and if it’s then a non-runner, would bookmakers refund your stake.
