AC Milan vs Rennes Preview & Prediction (20:00 KO)
Milan come into their first Europa League game of the season on Thursday night, having dropped down from the Champions League ‘group of death’ at the end of last year.
The Rossoneri have been in fine form recently across all competitions with just one loss in their last 12 games. Milan’s last outing saw them close the gap to Juventus in second with a close 1-0 win against Napoli.
Rennes are also in the best form of their season so far right now, with seven wins in their last eight giving them plenty of momentum coming into the knockouts.
The Ligue 1 side only just missed out on top spot in their group to Villarreal this season, but the one point between them left Rennes in the tricky position of having to play an extra game.
