Chelsea star Christian Pulisic has made his transfer preference clear this summer, after AC Milan submitted an improved £19m bid for the USMNT captain.

Pulisic’s future at Chelsea has been up for debate for some months now and the 24-year-old could be on his way to Italy this summer with AC Milan interested in signing the winger.

The race to sign Pulisic seemed to be between AC Milan and Lyon this summer, but Milan look to have won the battle before even signing the American after he made his transfer preference clear this week.

Milan and Lyon have both made bids for Pulisic already, with the French side beating Milan’s first offer of £12m with a £21m bid of their own.

However, Pulisic has already agreed personal terms with Milan who decided to improve their offer to £19m today in the hopes of landing the American.

Chelsea reportedly value Pulisic at around £20m, so the offer from the Serie A giants should be enough to secure the out of favour Blues star who just wants to ‘find that joy at a club level again’ following a difficult spell in London.

“It’s absolutely a time where I need to figure out what’s going to be best for my future and be somewhere where I can go and play and be trusted and feel good in what I’m doing.

“I want to find that joy at a club level again, for sure.”

Chelsea have already done business with Milan this summer, as Ruben Loftus-Cheek agreed a deal to move this summer after 19 years at Chelsea.

It looks as if Pulisic will follow in his former teammates footsteps in making the move to Milan this summer, as he hopes to revive his domestic career.
