Horse racing fans are having a good time of things at the moment as hot on the heels of the big Boxing Day coverage the ITV racing on Wednesday 27th December gives equine lovers another EIGHT races to enjoy.

This time the action is switching to the ITV4 channel with the races spread across Chepstow and Kempton Park.

At Kempton, two of the big highlights are the Wayward Lad Novices’ Chase (1:55pm) – a race that recent Newbury second Nickle Back looks the one to beat – plus the Desert Orchid Chase (2:30pm), where last year’s winner Editeur Du Gite is back for more.

Then at Chepstow it’s their biggest day on the racing calendar with the Welsh Grand National taking centre stage.

You can use Andy Newton’s key Welsh National trends to help find the winner as these tell us that the last four winners carried just 10-4 or less, while we will also see the 2021 winner Iwilldoit returning to try and get his title back.
