Ascot Horse Racing Tips and Trends: Saturday 4th Nov 23
See below the key trends and horse racing tips for Ascot races today on what looks set to be a wet afternoon, so form on soft and heavy ground is a ‘must-have’ when looking for your fancies.
To also help, we’ve listed the key Ascot trends for today’s four LIVE ITV races, which you can apply to each race and find the best horse profiles based on past winners.
The Sodexo Live! Gold Cup at 3:45pm is feature – a race that the Gary Moore-trained Larry won in 2021 and is back again. We’ve only seen four winning favourites in the race too, while 15 of the last 18 winners didn’t win last time out, which would be a negative for Two For Gold and Mucho Mas.
Past course form is also a plus – with 72% of the last 18 winners having run at Ascot before, with six winning.
Previous winners at the Berkshire track in the race are just Larry and Two For Gold.

Wetherby Horse Racing Tips and Trends: Saturday 4th Nov 23
Wetherby passed a morning inspection to get the all-clear to race on their Charlie Hall Chase da – great news as there’s another five LIVE ITV races at the West Yorkshire track.
The big highlight, is course, the return of last season’s Kempton King George VI Chase winner – Bravemansgame, who will be trying to win this race for a second year in-a-row.
He faces just three rivals, but the trio are no back numbers themselves with Ahoy Senor, who is rated only 3lbs off the Paul Nicholls hot-pot, Gentlemansgame and Midnight River looking to upset the odds.
We’ve also got the bet365 West Yorkshire Hurdle (2:25pm) – a race the with several well-known names returning, including Dashel Drasher, Thyme Hill, Botox Has and GA Law. The Wetherby trends in the race tell us 15 of the last 21 winners were aged 6, 7 or 8, which is a stat both Thyme Hill (9) and Dashel Drasher (10) will need to overcome.
