The Sir Michael Stoute yard have a fair history in this race – winning the prize twice since 2004 – and look to have a decent chance of adding to that with Perfuse. This 3 year-old has only raced three times, but has won his last two and the last of those was a nice 2 length success at Doncaster.

He’s into a handicap for the first time here on a fair mark (94) and unlike a lot of the other runners in the field is a proven distance winner so we know getting the trip will be okay. Epsom Derby-winning rider Richard Kingscote gets the leg-up.
