OGC Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram has reportedly reached a verbal agreement over personal terms ahead of a prospective move to Liverpool this summer.

Khephren Thuram, who has been on Liverpool‘s radar since January, has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Merseyside club.

Liverpool are said to have been in advanced talks with the Frenchman for several weeks, but an agreement has now been reached, per FootballTransfers.

The report claims that talks are now underway between Liverpool and OGC Nice, as they look to settle on a transfer fee.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly attempted to sign the midfielder previously, but through instalments – something Les Aiglons are not keen on.

Nice are looking to gain a fee of around £55m for their 22-year-old talent, with other Premier League sides such as Newcastle believed to be interested.

However, Thuram has only had his eye on a move to Anfield. He along with his entourage are said to have been pushing for a move to Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Reds boss Klopp is a huge fan of the player, and has held an interest since the turn of the year.

Despite completing the signing of Alexis Mac Allister, Liverpool reportedly remain interested in Manu Kone and Gabri Veiga, as well as Thuram of course.

Khephren is the son of World Cup-winning ex-French international Lilian Thuram.

His father turned out for the likes of Monaco, Juventus and Barcelona, and earned 142 caps for his country.

Coming through the Monaco academy like his dad, Thuram looks to be a bright talent for the French national side.

Currently an under-21 international, the youngster has appeared at club level 48 times this term.

In those appearances, he has scored twice, as well as assisting eight goals as his team finished ninth in Ligue 1.
