Day two of the York Ebor Festival is upon us with another sensational day of racing in store. To prepare for the action, we have put together some York each-way tips on Thursday with a cheeky 100/1 e/w double. Check out our selections below.

The first horse in our York each-way tips on Thursday is PERSICA. Richard Hannon has won this race five times in the last seven years and runs four from his stable this time around, and has a solid chance of adding more success.
Persica has a great chance of following up from last week’s success in the hands of Sean Levey. This New Bay colt looked a totally different animal when scoring at Salisbury last time out after disappointing on debut at Leicester just three days prior to that.
Levey took over from Hollie Doyle last week and remains in the saddle this time around. Further improvement should be on the horizon, and returning to 6f again should be a positive, and this £200,000 yearling can go well once again.

3:00pm Clipper Stakes Heritage Handicap 1m ITV: The Gatekeeper @ 14/1
To complete our York each-way tips on Thursday, we’ve selected THE GATEKEEPER. This 1m handicap is very open and a hard race to call, but there is a lot to like about Charlie Johnston’s gelding.
William Buick takes the ride on a three-year-old who has had plenty of money come his way in the past week. He opened at 33/1 and has shortened dramatically.
The Gatekeeper was a dual 7f winner earlier on the season at Newcastle and Newmarket, and was mightily impressive when stepping up in trip at Glorious Goodwood at the start of August. He ran on ever so well from the back of the field showing a superb turn of foot, and is an attractive price based on recent evidence.
