Wolves vs Tottenham Preview

Champions League hopefuls Spurs will be aiming to continue their solid run of form on Saturday, and we have gathered together all the key information including the latests odds, team news and predicted line-ups in our Wolves vs Tottenham preview.

Wolves vs Tottenham Preview

Cast your mind back to the third game of the season, which seems an age away what with a whole World Cup squeezed in between.

Wolves were mightily unlucky to walk away with nothing in a typically stubborn Antonio Conte-led performance from Tottenham, who claimed all three points despite having nine attempts less than the visitors.

The Wolf Pack return to Molineux for the reverse fixture in the hope of restoring the feel-good factor that swept through the club when new manager Julen Lopetegui first arrived, but a three-game winless run has left them just three points off the drop zone once more.

Meanwhile, Tottenham make the trip to the midlands at the occupiers of the Premier League‘s fourth spot, although Newcastle have two games in hand and can move ahead of them, should they themselves bring an end to a stuttering run of form.

Spurs were the victims of a classic FA Cup upset in midweek at the hands of Sheffield United, but they can make it three successive victories in the league should they prevail this weekend.

Wolves vs Tottenham Team News

The home side were lacklustre against Liverpool last time out, and Lopetegui may opt for a personnel overhaul with the likes of Adama Traore, Pedro Neto and Daniel Podence in line for a starting role.

Their injury woes continue throughout the squad though, with long-term absentees Sasa Kalajdzic, Chiquinho, Hwang Hee-chan and Boubacar Traore all sidelines, while Matheus Cunha appeared to roll his ankle which will likely rule him out of this tie.

Breakthrough star Hugo Bueno was hauled off early in the first half at Anfield, so Rayan Hit-Nouri will more than likely step in as cover.

Wolves Predicted Line-Up: Sa; Semedo, Dawson, Kilman, Ait-Nouri; Lemina, Neves, Moutinho; Traore, Podence; Jimenez.

Elsewhere, the visitors are still without Ryan Sessengnon, Rodrigo Bentancur, Hugo Lloris and Yves Bissouma, and temporary caretaker Cristian Stellini may opt for a similar 11 that swept aside Chelsea last weekend.

Richarlison struggled to impose himself on the game, which should see Heung-Min Son return to the starting line-up, while Oliver Skipp impressed last time with a special 25-yard strike for his first Tottenham goal, and should keep his spot.

Tottenham Predicted Line-Up: Forster; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Emerson, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Davies; Kulusevski, Kane, Son.

Prediction: Wolves 1 – 2 Tottenham
