West Ham vs Chelsea Betting Tip 1: Chelsea To Win

Chelsea’s side are still very much an unknown quantity this season after an extremely busy transfer window, but after just one game played we are backing the side to cruise to victory against West Ham on Sunday.

The Blues opened their Premier League campaign with a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge, with an encouraging display after a disappointing start to the match.

West Ham on the other hand were held on the South coast to a 1-1 draw with Bournemouth, with the Hammers pegged back after a sensational Jarrod Bowen finish.

West Ham vs Chelsea Betting Tip 2: Nicolas Jackson To Score

Our second tip for this weekend’s London derby is for Chelsea’s new striker, Nicolas Jackson, to get off the mark for the Blues with his first goal of the season.

Jackson looked very positive against Liverpool and although he was guilty of missing a couple of opportunities, the Senegalese forward was in the right place at the right time multiple times against Liverpool and just needed to sharpen his finishing up.

Jackson was bound to need some time to settle in at the Bridge and here at SportsLens we are confident he can score on just his second game for the Blues in his first London derby.

West Ham vs Chelsea Betting Tip 3: Both Teams To Score – NO

Our final tip for this weekend’s super Sunday fixture is for Chelsea to keep a clean sheet.

Although the Blues couldn’t prevent Liverpool from scoring last weekend, they face a much less threatening attack this week that we believe will struggle against a resolute Chelsea defence.

A new look back line for the Blues has Levi Colwill and Axel Disasi playing alongside Thiago Silva, with new goalkeeper Robert Sanchez between the sticks.

West Ham showed nothing special going forward against Bournemouth at the weekend (except a brilliant Bowen solo effort) and we believe the Blues defence will be too strong to get past for the Hammers this week.
