Mason Mount has dodged a question about Manchester United links as Martin Brundle of Sky Sports quizzed him on the Spanish Grand Prix grid.

Mount Changes Subject When Interviewed At Spanish GP

Several stars of European football made the trip over to Barcelona for the F1 action, and among them were Chelsea duo Mount and Ben Chilwell. The former has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge for some time now, with a move to the Red Devils on the cards.

And, cleverly he did not confirm or deny anything when he was quizzed on the United links by Brundle, and you can see the video below.

The Sky reporter said: “Mason, he said you’re going to Manchester United?”

In which Mount responded with a laugh and a smile, “I’m here to simply enjoy this race today. It’s an amazing day and I can’t wait to watch it.”

PSG ace Neymar was also in attendance this weekend in Barcelona, and was present at last weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix too.

Mount, 24, has reportedly agreed terms with United over a transfer this summer, and a move could be wrapped up and confirmed within the coming weeks.

His contract at Chelsea expires next year and the Red Devils look to have beat Liverpool to the signing of Mount.
