GLASSES UP has won six of his 19 starts at Ayr for a profit of £38.25 and will be happier back at this venue after his modest fifth at Carlisle last time. His course record when returned to the track between eight and 21 days since his latest start reads 1115412115223 (6-13) for a profit of £44.25 and that Carlisle run came exactly three weeks ago.
WOLVERHAMPTON 8.10
GUILDFORD (system – Jamie Osborne, handicap debutants)
Jamie Osborne does well with his handicap debutants, scoring with 25 of the 189 qualifiers since the beginning of 2017 for a profit of £133.10 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 14.83, A/E =1.69). GUILDFORD needs to improve on what he’s shown in three runs in novice company, but he raced keenly over 7-7.5f and tonight’s drop to 6f will help.
