Premier League Darts Night Three Acca @ 14/1

19:15pm – Rob Cross vs Michael Smith: Michael Smith To Win @ 10/13

Michael Smith has looked somewhat back to his best in this year’s Premier League so far, sitting top of the league after two weeks. He was the night one winner, before making the semi-finals last week and will be hard to beat if replicating that form.

However, Smith failed to make an impact at either PC1 or PC2 at the start of this week, but “Bully Boy” is more than likely saving his best stuff for Thursday nights at the minute.

Rob Cross isn’t in bad form himself though, and will test Smith, though the latter’s accuracy on doubles and high averages may prove to be too much for “Voltage” to handle.

19:45pm – Michael van Gerwen vs Peter Wright: Michael van Gerwen To Win & Most 180s @ 4/6

Michael van Gerwen heads to Glasgow after winning the night last week. “Mighty Mike” has only lost once in his last seven games in all competitions and sets the standard in this one.

He hit 13 180s in his three games last week, and he can take advantage of a confidence-lacking Peter Wright on route to a potential back-to-back winning night.

The Dutchman thrives in Premier League Darts and whilst Wright’s home crowd will be on his side, Van Gerwen should have what it takes to beat him fairly easily.

20:15pm – Nathan Aspinall vs Luke Humphries: Nathan Aspinall To Win @ 11/5

Nathan Aspinall threw away a 3-leg lead against eventual winner Michael van Gerwen last week in Berlin and looked really good on the oche for the majority of the game. However, a stumble in the closing stages led to him losing.

“The Asp” on his day can beat anyone, but he does face the World Champion. However, Luke Humphries is struggling as of late, winning just twice in his last eight matches. “Cool Hand Luke” was also knocked out in Round One in both of the Pro Tour events earlier on in the week.

Aspinall is good value in this game at just over 2/1 against a player who hasn’t looked himself since lifting the world title.

20:45pm – Gerwyn Price vs Luke Littler: Luke Littler To Win @ 3/5

Luke Littler has made a terrific start to life in the Premier League, coming close to winning the night last week when losing in a last leg decider against MVG.

He has followed up his good form by a dominant display in PC1 on Monday, picking up a win on his Pro Tour debut. Littler did get knocked out in the second round on Tuesday at PC2, but a small blip shouldn’t thwart his chances here.

The two times that Littler has faced Price, he has managed to win 7-3 and 7-4 in back-to-back World Series competitions.
