Kempton Going Currently Described as ‘Good-to-Soft’ Ahead Of Lanzarote Hurdle Day
It’s Lanzarote Hurdle day at Kempton Park this Saturday and with a lot of cold, wet and freezing weather sweeping the country at the moment track officials will be keeping a close eye on the weather – especially with Sandown Park called off last weekend.
Good news at the moment is that the track are reporting no problems, with the colder weather expected next week.
The seven-race card will also feature the Grade 2 Silviniaco Conti Chase and a must-see matchup between the former Arkle Chase winner Edwardstone and the Paul Nicholls-trained Pic D’Orhy, who was last seen winning the 1965 Chase at Ascot.
ITV4 will show three of the seven races on the Kempton card, with the New Bet-in-Race with Coral Handicap Chase the other contest making up the trio of ITV races.
