Kate Tracey thinks that the Joe Tizzard-trained The Big Breakaway will go well today and is overpriced at around 50/1. The horse sports the first-time blinkers and despite being pulled up behind Corach Rambler last time in the Ultima Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, the longer trip will suit. Prior to that run the 8 year-old was a fine second in the Welsh Grand National, so had pedigree in this long-distance races, but carried 11-13 that day and only has 10-10 this time.
She feels the grey horse, Vanillier can also run well for Ireland – plus last year’s third Delta Work can fill the bronze medal place again and the 2022 champ Noble Yeats is also set to run well off his increased rating.
