Real Madrid are reportedly set to announce the signing of Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham next with the player having agreed personal terms to the La Liga side.

The England international has been on the radar of Los Blancos for a long time and they have been frontrunners since Liverpool dropped out of the race to sign him due to the high fee Dortmund demanded.

Bellingham could sign off from German football in perfect fashion with Dortmund on the brink of a first Bundesliga title since 2012. Edin Terzic’s side would win the title with a win on the final day of the season against Mainz.

Bellingham has been instrumental in Dortmund’s title charge this season and has contributed eight goals and four assists in 31 Bundesliga appearances.

The fee for his move to Madrid is to be in excess of £86.2m (€100m), and it’s a number that is expected to rise when additional clauses and bonuses are added on.

Despite struggling with a knee injury recently, the 19-year-old is hoping to play what could be his last match at Signal Iduna Park on the final day.

If Bayern beat Koln, nothing less than a win will see Dortmund lift the prestigious Bundesliga for the first time in over 10 years.
