ITV Racing Schedule For Saturday 13th January At Kempton, Warwick and Wetherby

The second weekend in 2024 sees the ITV Racing schedule for Saturday 13th January cover races from three tracks – Kempton, Wetherby and Warwick. Where all three venues will be keeping everything crossed regarding the weather.

ITV Racing Schedule On Saturday 13th January 2024

With a cold spell having hit the UK, then this Saturday’s ITV Racing schedule will rely on the weather playing ball.

However, the good news is at this stage there are no reported issues at Kempton Park, Wetherby and Warwick. The three tracks that will host the ITV racing action on Saturday 13th January.

There will be a total of eight LIVE ITV4 races for horse racing fans to get stuck into, where Warwick showing the most with four races, Kempton three and Wetherby hosting one.

At Warwick, the Wigley Group Classic Handicap Chase (3:00) is their feature and it looks a race with many chances with the Gavin Cromwell-trained Malina Girl one of the fancies coming over from Ireland.

Then at Kempton their three LIVE ITV races are headlined with the Lanzarote Hurdle (2:40pm) and the Coral Silviniaco Conti Chase (2:05pm). The Lanzarote Hurdle has been won six times in the last ten runnings by a claiming jockey, which could be an interesting trend to take into the race.

While the Grade 2 Silviniaco Conti Chase will feature a must-see matchup between the former Arkle Chase winner Edwardstone and this season’s 1965 Chase winner Pic D’Orhy, who also won the race last year.

The final track hosting an ITV racing contest is Wetherby, with their William Hill-sponsored Towton Novices’ Chase (1:10pm) the big race on their card. Where the Jamie Snowden-trained Colonel Harry will be a popular pick after his recent second in the Henry VIII Novices’ Chase at Sandown Park.
