Inter Miami are plotting a move for Luis Suarez to reunite Lionel Messi with another one of his former Barcelona teammates and the deal could be completed in the winter transfer window.

Luis Suarez Linked With Move To Inter Miami Once Again

The 36-year-old was linked with a move to the MLS in the summer but decided to remain Brazilian club Gremio. However, he could leave in the coming months as the Campeonato Gaúcho de Futebol Série A season ends in December.

It would be a special link-up in America where Suarez would reunite with former Barcelona teammates Messi, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets.

After Suarez announced he’d be leaving Gremio, this has sparked more rumours about his next club and Miami boss Gerardo Martino has previously revealed he’d be keen to lure Suarez to Miami.

“Within our analysis of the upcoming season, and the needs we may have, we have an analysis with Luis and an analysis without Luis,” Martino said at a recent press conference.

“So when the moment arrives to make Suarez’s situation with respect to Inter Miami official, we’ll be prepared to go in the corresponding direction.”

Suarez and Messi would undoubtedly be a force to be reckoned with in the MLS after sharing a dressing room together for six years at the Nou Camp. The dynamic duo won four La Liga titles and a Champions League alongside each other as well as other trophies.

The Uruguay forward has been in good form since his move to Brazil and has netted 18 goals in 42 appearances. He is said to be up for making the move to Inter Miami when the MLS window opens up at the end of January.
