A 4lb rise for his course and distance win earlier in the month may not be enough to stop SONIGINO going in again at Chepstow races today for Ditcheat. This five-year-old gelding is part-owned by Sir Alex Ferguson and bested a couple of mares here 19 days ago.

Timeforatune overpriced on hurdles debut at Chepstow
Given Nicholls’ fine record at this venue, TIMEFORATUNE looks a big price to win his hurdles bow earlier on the card. This six-year-old Yorgunnabelucky gelding showed plenty of ability in bumpers last season, winning three of his four starts including one here. Timeforatune then completed a hat-trick in a Listed race at Cheltenham.
Back in third that day was Aucunrisque, who has landed five of his seven subsequent starts including a Grade 2 novice hurdle at Kempton Park races and his chase debut around Uttoxeter. Timeforatune had to give weight all-round on his final National Hunt Flat race outing in another Listed event at Newbury, so a line can be put through that.
