Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp thinks that Harry Kane could be planning to make a switch across London to another Premier League side.

The England captain is out of contract at Spurs next summer (2024) and Spurs will risk losing their star man for free if he doesn’t commit to a new deal.

Kane has made it clear in the past that he wants to win trophies in his career, and new opportunities may arise soon. If he was to move on then his 19-year spell at the club could come to an end.

With Chelsea set to appoint Mauricio Pochettino sooner rather than later, could a shock move to one of Spurs’ biggest rivals be on the cards? Manchester United are also another side reportedly interested in Kane’s signature.

Kane became the superstar that he is today under Poch, and a reunion could be just around the corner.

Redknapp believes the mood could certainly happen and thinks Kane would rather stay closer to home.

“It will be interesting if Pochettino goes to Chelsea,

“That wouldn’t go down well with the Tottenham fans at all that’s for sure. It’s a great move for him and I think he’s (Harry Kane) building a house in that area.

“He’s a family man and he’d be happier not moving to the north of England or wherever he’d have to go.”
