Marco Verratti is expected to join Saudi club Al-Hilal according to transfer news guru, Fabrizio Romano.
This summer we’ve seen an array of footballing talent accept large offers to join the new football revolution in Saudi.
Cristiano Ronaldo made the move to Al-Nassr after leaving Manchester United at the end of last year. Since then, the likes of Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante and Roberto Firmino have made the move to Saudi Arabia.
To show the intent behind the development of Saudi Pro League, there has been talks of Kylian Mbappe making a move there for a world record fee. It’s a deal that would make him one of the richest athletes on the planet.
While the world waits to see if that deal happens, Al-Hilal are making moves for other world-class talent.
Romano has tweeted an exclusive transfer story saying Verratti is the next player on his way to Saudi Arabia.

Verratti’s deal will see him join Al-Hilal on a three-year deal. There has been no news about figures just yet, but given the money available to teams in Saudi Arabia, Verratti will be in for a big payday.
Verratti is regarded as one of the biggest wasted talent of this generation. He started his career at Pescara, before moving to PSG where he has played over 250 games.
At just 30-years-old, many would have hoped to see him challenge himself in one of Europe’s elite leagues. However, it seems he’ll be playing with other talent in the Saudi Pro League.
