Everton Points Deduction Appeal Odds: Price-Setters Predict Punishment To Be Reduced To Six points
The Toffees were deducted 10 points for breaching Premier League profit and sustainability rules, a decision that moved Sean Dyche’s men to 19th place.
Everton faced an investigation by an independent commission in March for the alleged breaches, which were linked to the 2021-22 season and a hearing took place in October.
Everton fans have been left furious, as Manchester City are yet to be punished for an alleged 115 breaches of Financial Fair Play.
Following the points deduction, Everton have appealed the decision and the odds favour a successful outcome for the blue side of Merseyside.
If successful, the most likely outcome according to this exclusive set of odds, is for the deduction to be changed to six points – meaning the Toffee’s would regain four points.
This would move Everton out of the relegation places (correct as of Matchday 13) as they would be on eight points and just a point behind Bournemouth in 16th.
Seeing the points deduction be removed completely would move Everton up to 15th and at 3/1, is not completely unthinkable.
