Everton vs Arsenal team news for Saturday’s early kick-off can be found below, and Toffees fans may be in for somewhat of a culture shock under new manager Sean Dyche.

Arsenal head to Goodison Park in search of win that could restore, at least temporarily, an eight point gap between themselves and Manchester City, while the hosts are winless in their previous eight Premier League fixtures.

Sean Dyche takes charge of his first game for Everton after replacing Frank Lampard last week, and he will be hoping to tap into the last gasp heroics of last season where they managed to snatch a last minute win against Mikel Arteta’s side.

The hero of that victory last season, Demarai Gray, drops to the bench in a surprise move from the new Everton boss. Gray has arguably been the one shining light in an otherwise dull run of form for the home side, but Dyche has instead opted for Dwight McNeil, with whom he shared a prickly relationship at Burnley during their time in Lancashire.

Elsewhere, it looks as if a shake-up in the formation is in order, with Dyche intent on making this side more defensively stout. Abdoulaye Doucoure steps in to form an imposing midfield three alongside Amadou Onana and Idrissa Gueye, while Yerry Mina drops to the bench in favour of a back four.

Mikel Arteta names an unchanged starting 11 for the fourth consecutive gameweek, and despite expressing fears over Thomas Partey’s fitness in a press conference yesterday, the Ghanaian retains his place alongside Granit Xhaka in midfield.

Elsewhere, Jorginho is named on the bench for the first time since completing his move from Chelsea on deadline day, while fellow January additions Jakub Kiwior and Leandro Trossard are also named as substitutes.
