Dirk van Duijvenbode World Darts Championship Odds
Dirk van Duijvenbode’s 2023 saw the Dutchman make a singular appearance from the quarter-finals and beyond on TV, before being sent home by eventual winner Chris Dobey. After a strong 2022 in PDC premier events, he’ll have been disappointed with his form after at one point being in contention for a Premier League wildcard spot.
According to the best new UK betting sites, ‘Aubergenius’ is an outsider at 100/1 to win this year’s tournament in North London – which would be his first PDC major title. He’s been runner-up in two majors previously, the 2022 World Series Finals and 2020 World Grand Prix.
Van Duijvenbode is a fan favourite and there’s no question that he’ll have Alexandra Palace on their feet in unity, which could be just the push he needs. His best finish at the World Championship came in 2021, losing 5-1 in the quarter-finals to Gary Anderson.
The 31-year-old owes us more in the English capital and he’s been handed a favourable draw in the second round. Potentially a decent each-way prospect.
