Peter Wright World Darts Championship Odds
Peter Wright’s 2023 hasn’t gone swimmingly in the build-up to the World Championship. His wife has been in and out of hospital for the last while and the most recent update is that she remains there for tests.
This has largely affected his game and focus on darts, with his priorities understandably elsewhere. He lost in the third round of the 2023 World Darts Championship at the hands of Kim Huybrechts.
Throughout 2023, Wright reached the semi-final of the Masters, lost in the last 16 of the World Matchplay, got to the semi-final of the World Series of Darts Finals, lost in the quarter-final at the World Grand Prix and didn’t make it out of the last 32 in the Grand Slam.
According to the best new UK betting sites, ‘Snakebite’ is priced at 20/1 to win this year’s tournament in North London – which would be his fourth title on the Alexandra Palace stage.
