Delta Work Grand National Tip
Delta Work goes into the 2023 Grand National as the joint betting favourite at odds of around 9/1 with the best horse racing betting sites.
Delta Work came third in this race last year, and also comes here fresh off the back of a win at the Cheltenham Festival last month. The 10-year-old claimed back-to-back victories in the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham and comes to this year’s National in strong form.
The Gordon Elliott-trained 10-year-old has never won at Aintree but did run a strong race last year finishing third in the 2022 National. However, the gelding was no match for last year’s winner Noble Yeats who again features this year.
Taking Delta Work to win looks like a decent bet here, despite being the shortest odds of any of the 40 Grand National runners. There are plenty of talented horses in the race, with Corach Rambler and Noble Yeats also amongst the favourites, but Delta Work looks could well go one better this year and win the 2023 Grand National.
