Dave Chisnall World Darts Championship Odds
Dave Chisnall’s 2023 has lacked a big TV performance, but you can never write him off and he’s poised for a big World Championship. The 43-year-old’s best finish in a ranked TV event this year was making it to the fourth round of the UK Open where he was sent home by Michael van Gerwen.
According to the best new UK betting sites, ‘Chizzy’ is an outsider at 50/1 to win this year’s tournament in North London – which would be his first PDC major title. He’s come close in a number of events before, including two runner-up finishes at the Grand Prix, one at the Grand Slam, two at the Masters and one at the Players Championship Finals.
Chizzy is a fan favourite and you can bet that the Alexandra Palace crowd will have his back all the way through. Since making the switch to the PDC in 2011, he’s been a staple of the Order of Merit’s top 20 and has participated in the Premier League on three occasions.
The St Helens-born darts star was runner-up in the 2010 BDO World Championship and he’s got plenty of experience under his belt. Wayne Mardle continues to hold high hopes for Chisnall on the world stage and he’s a better judge than most, so don’t be surprised to see him give a good account of himself in 2024.
