Tyson Fury will defend his WBC heavyweight world title in a trilogy fight with Derek Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on London on December 3 after talks with Anthony Joshua failed once again.
The fight will be the third in-ring meeting between the two Britons, with Fury having outpointed Chisora in 2011 and beaten him via TKO in 2014.
Earlier this year at Wembley stadium Fury knocked out Dillian Whyte in six rounds and after announcing his retirement via social media, decided to continue with his career.
The WBC champ initially targeted Oleksandr Usyk, who stripped Joshua of his titles and beat him in a remtch too, but the Ukrainian was unable box until 2023.
Fury then began negotiations for the Joshua bout but the respective teams could not come to an agreement.
With December 3 set as the date for Fury’s next fight Chisora subsequently came into contention and the deal was struck relatively quickly.

Boxing fans have been underwhelmed by the news of another trilogy fight for Fury, coming 12 months after the Gypsy King beat Deontay Wilder for the third time.
Chisora’s recent form has been patchy. He took Usyk 12 rounds in 2020 and lost two consecutive bouts to Joseph Parker after that.
But in July he did secure his first win since he boxed David Price in 2019 when outscoring Kubrat Pulev at The O2.
Daniel Dubois will fight Kevin Lerena on Fury vs Chisora undercard as he continues to rebuild his career after suffering defeat and a broken eye socket at the hands of Joe Joyce in 2020.
