Bruno Fernandes Believes that his fellow countryman Gonçalo Ramos has the potential to be one of the best strikers in the world one day, as Manchester United eye a blockbuster move.
Manchester United are in desperate need of a number 9 this summer and Gonçalo Ramos could be the blockbuster signing Erik Ten Hag is after.
Ramos would cost United around £104m, however the 21-year-old has already proved that he can do it on the worlds biggest stage for both Benfica and Portugal.
In his breakthrough season Ramos has spearheaded Benfica to a Primera Liga title with 19 league goals, while also shining for his side in Benfica’s successful Champions League run.

Ramos also impressed for Portugal despite their disappointing World Cup, with the starlet bursting onto the scene with a hat trick in the round of 16 against Switzerland.
International teammate and United star Bruno Fernandes would be keen on Ramos joining the Red Devils this summer, as he believes the youngster has the talent to become one of the best in the world.
‘He [Ramos] has all the qualities to play in the Premier League, and when I say Premier League I also mean Manchester United.
‘He surprised me in the national team, not only me but the rest of my team-mates. He’s physically strong, he’s still young and he’s going to get better.

‘If he continues to work as he has been doing, I think he has the potential to be one of the best strikers in the world, but he needs to go to a more competitive league to prove it.’
United are still weighing up their options this summer, but a striker is number one on Erik Ten Hag’s shopping list and Gonçalo Ramos could yet line up alongside Fernandes for both club and country next season.
