According to reports, Barcelona are increasingly confident of signing Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan this summer.
The report comes from 90min, who claim that the German has been offered a two-year deal at the Camp Nou, with an option to extend his contract for a further year.
It is also understood that Gundogan’s family are keen on living in Catalonia.
This latest update comes following another stunning performance by the former Borussia Dortmund man. At the weekend he bagged both goals in the 2-1 victory over Leeds United.

Following the culmination of the clash, Pep Guardiola sang Gundogan’s praises, confirming that he’d like to continue working with him.
“I said about the contract, the club is involved and knows my opinion. They are above me, we take the decision together, good and bad. It’s not necessary if he scored two incredible goals, how good he played today, reading the spaces, he has everything – incredible run in the final third, how intelligent he is.” Guardiola said in his post-match press conference.
“It’s not necessary to score two goals to know exactly how I like this player and enjoying working with him and how I’d like to work with him in the future.”

Gundogan’s current contract at the Etihad comes to an end in June, with his departure now looking likely.
The 32-year-old has enjoyed an incredible seven years in Manchester, and will be looking to bow out in style.
He is on course to earn a fifth Premier League title, as well as the possibility of winning a second FA Cup, and a first-ever Champions League title.
