Arsenal are in yet another title race and as the season enters its final stages, we have taken a look at who the Gunners have left to play.

Can Arsenal Win A Fourth Premier League Title?

The Gunners were in the first title race for almost a decade last season, leading the Premier League for 248 days before dropping down to second behind Manchester City.

This set a new record for the highest number of days spent in first place without winning the title and Mikel Arteta’s side are back in contention for the league title this season.

As of March 4th 2024, Arsenal sit third in the Premier League and are five points behind table-topping Liverpool going into their match against Sheffield United.

The north London based side have beaten both Liverpool, and Manchester City this season – whilst also beating other big names such as Manchester United and Newcastle.

However, Arsenal suffered a problematic spell over the festive period, after failing to win in three consecutive league matches and picking up just one point against Liverpool, West Ham and Fulham.

Recently the Gunners have been on red-hot form in the Premier League, winning six straight matches and scoring 25 goals in the process.

Attacking prowess has not been the only impressive feat, as Mikel Arteta’s men have conceded just three goals in these six matches.

Tricky End For Mikel Arteta’s Side

Arsenal will have to be near-on perfect in their final 12 Premier League fixtures, as Liverpool have lost just two matches all season and Manchester City have not lost in their last 12.

Arteta will face his former master during the month of March, as Arsenal travel to the Etihad to face Man City – as the Cityzens look to make history with a fourth consecutive league title.

Not only do Arsenal have to face the current champions, the Gunners have a north London derby in store on April 27th – as Spurs continue to impress under Ange Postecoglou.

The Lilywhites came from behind twice to draw 2-2 at the Emirates in the reverse fixture and are searching for a place in the top four.

Arsenal also have a visit to Old Trafford in May, as Erik ten Hag looks to finish a disappointing season strongly and get revenge from Arsenal’s 3-1 win at the Emirates last year.
