With another humbling defeat for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta at the hands of Liverpool in the FA Cup, we at Sportslens are taking a look at the Gunners’ latest next manager odds.

It was a miserable weekend for Arsenal as they crashed out of the FA Cup in their first match this season, going down 2-0 at home to Liverpool.

Their winless run now stretches back to 17 December, when they beat Brighton 2-0 in the Premier League. Since then, they’ve lost to Fulham and West Ham, while drawing 1-1 with Jurgen Klopp’s Reds at Anfield.

With no wins in their last four games, they have slipped from the top of the league to fourth, and pressure is mounting on Arteta. Arsenal are now five points behind Liverpool, and will be spectators when the fourth round of the cup is drawn on Monday evening.

As another chance at silverware passes them by, some Arsenal fans are questioning Arteta’s management. While it’s a young squad, they have been given time to develop and are still coming up short.

Should the Gunners fail to beat FC Porto in their Champions League next month, they will be out of all cup competitions already. And with them tumbling down the table, an improvement in league form is needed rapidly.

They have the opportunity to reset and go again, with Arsenal’s next match not until 20 January against Crystal Palace. But another defeat or even a poor performance could see calls for Arteta’s resignation to grow louder still.

However, with Sky Bet currently giving Arteta odds of 66/1 in the Premier League sack race, the Spaniard seems fairly safe for now.

But things can change very quickly in football, so a few more bad results could see those odds slashed overnight. With that in mind, here’s a list of the next Arsenal manager’s odds.
