Despite managing to avoid defeat for three consecutive games, Rotherham’s title as the Championship‘s yo-yo club remains increasingly likely to stick.
They are glued to the bottom having picked up 18 points from a possible 78, all the while holding the unfortunate record as the league’s worst defence, having allowed 50 goals.
The Millers make the taxing journey from South Yorkshire to the banks of the River Thames, as Fulham look to better their commendable run to the last eight of the FA Cup last season.
The Cottagers were stopped in their tracks by eventual runners-up Manchester United, and barring any FA Cup third round upsets, they may look at this fixture as the optimal way to begin bettering that record.
Fresh off the back of beating title-chasers Arsenal, they once again feature at Craven Cottage here – they will take comfort in playing at home given they have picked up 12 more Premier League points, as opposed to on the road.

As mentioned, Rotherham have a rather alarming tendency to concede.
On only two occasions this season have they managed to shut out an opponent, with one of those also seeing them draw blank.
This certainly does not bode well for a long trip south to a Premier League team buoyed by the confidence of beating the division’s runners-up last time out, and in pretty convincing fashion.
The hosts have had a topsy-turvy season to say the least. That victory over Arsenal ended a three-game losing streak where they failed to score, but prior to that they had registered two consecutive games having won by a 5-0 scoreline.
The attacking prowess is there to see, and against a Rotherham side lacking any defensive security, we expect Fulham to score at least three goals.
Fulham vs Rotherham Tip Two: Rodrigo Muniz to Score First
There is very little in the way of value for ties such as these, unless you are banking on the magic of the FA Cup and a giant killing, which is always very much on the cards.
With that in mind, we had to dig deep to unearth at least something worthwhile, and we are predicting second-string striker Rodrigo Muniz to open the scoring.
The Brazilian has had to bide his time so far this season, which was scuppered somewhat with a knee injury, but his solitary strike came in the EFL Cup, and he will likely lead the line for this third round tie in the FA Cup.
This is the kind of fixture where confidence can be found and points can be proven.
