Sir AP McCoy commonly known as Tony McCoy is a former National Hunt horse racing jockey who was based in both Ireland and Britain and won almost every major race there was.

McCoy was widely recognised for his services to horse racing, and he was named the BBC Sports Personality Of The Year in 2010, becoming the first jockey to ever win the award. Three years later in 2013, he was also named RTE Sports Person of the Year, before being knighted at the start of 2016.
