Any Second Now Grand National Tip
Any Second Now goes into the 2023 Grand National as one of the top 10 market favourites at odds of around 18/1 with the best horse racing betting sites.
Last year’s runner up in the National isn’t being talked about as one of the main players here this year for some reason, but he is certainly a horse capable of going one better than 12 months ago by winning the 2023 Grand National.
Any Second Now comes here in decent form with two wins and two seconds in his last five starts. Any Second Now was last in action last month at Navan when winning by seven lengths to Velvet Elvis in the Webster Cup Chase.
The 11-year-old gelding came second in this race last year at Aintree and pushed the eventual winner Noble Yeats all the way. On that occasion he finished just over two lengths behind. If he can improve on last year’s running he will certainly have a huge chance yet again on Saturday in the Aintree showpiece Grand National Steeple Chase.
Taking Any Second Now to win looks like a decent bet here, given he came so close last year and is one of the most experienced of the 40 Grand National runners. There are plenty of talented horses in the race with Ain’t That A Shame, Corach Rambler, Delta Work and Noble Yeats all amongst the favourites, but Any Second Now looks a great outside bet to go one better this year and win the 2023 Grand National.
