Ahead of Spurs vs AC Milan this week, Antonio Conte has said he is feeling better and has “a lot of energy” to give on his return to the touchline.
Antonio Conte has ben absent from the Tottenham sideline for some time now, as the Spurs boss has been in recovery from his recent Gallbladder surgery.
The 53-year old made his return to the sideline against AC Milan when he was in his native Italy, however the game proved to be too much for Conte who was advised to stay in Italy to recover before returning to London.
Wednesday night will mark the full return of Conte in Spurs’ second leg Champions League tie with AC Milan and there is no better time for the Tottenham manager to return, as his side trail 1-0 after the first leg in Milan.

Conte spoke to the media for the first time since his return ahead of the Milan game and explained that doctors were concerned for his health after he underestimated the recovery needed.
“I wanted to come back early but I had to respect the Tottenham doctors because they were really worried after the game against Milan,” Conte said.
“For sure I under-evaluated the recovery after surgery. For my sense of responsibility I wanted to come back early, so I maybe over-evaluated my body.”

Despite the prolonged recovery period for Conte, he seems to be back and fighting fitter than ever, as the manager reassured everyone he is feeling up to the Milan game this week.
“But now I am well. I have to still recover weight but for the rest I am OK. My feeling is good, I have a lot of energy and will try to transfer my energy to my players.
“I’m really happy and we have an important game. It’s a vital game for us because we want to go to the next round.”
Tottenham be glad to have Conte back on the touchline this week however the game against Milan could be a turning point in their season, as Spurs desperately try to cling on to the European dream.
