Andre Onana At Risk Of Being Dropped By Ten Hag

Before Onana signed for United in the summer, Ten Hag was one of the key reasons why David De Gea was not given a new contract after 11 years as the side’s number one.

This decision seems to be coming back to haunt him with summer signing Onana having a tough start to life at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have endured a disaster start tot he season and their new number one has contributed to that with a series of poor mistakes, conceding 19 goals in his first 11 appearances.

Despite working together with him at Ajax, Ten Hag is seriously considering dropping the Cameroonian after the international break.

Onana was the top target to replace the departing De Gea with the Dutch coach a huge fan of his ball-playing skills and shot-stopping ability, but he is yet to live up to those expectations.

He spent just one season in the Serie A with Inter Milan where he impressed in their Champions League final defeat to Manchester City in his last appearance for the club.

Ten Hag could soon act on his wrongdoings so far for United and is expected to carefully watch performances in training and matches after the international break.

Onana is currently on international duty with Cameroon and could jet off with the side to Ivory Coast for AFCON in January.

Next up for the Red Devils is a trip to Sheffield United, where all eyes will surely be on the under-fire goalkeeper once again.
