Ain’t That A Shame Grand National Tip

Ain’t That A Shame now goes into the 2023 Grand National as the outright betting favourite at odds of around 8/1 with the best horse racing betting sites. The 9-year-old has been backed in from around 25/1 and is now the outright betting favourite for the biggest horse race on the planet.

That will be because jockey Rachael Blackmore has been given the ride and has come up with two winners so far already on the opening two days at Aintree.

Ain’t That A Shame comes here in decent form with a win last time out at Gowran Park last month. The bay gelding is inexperienced compared to some other of the National runners and has never ran around the hallowed Aintree turf before. However, do not rule him out from producing a big run this year in the Grand National Steeple Chase.

The Henry De Bromhead-trained 9-year-old has never raced at Aintree but did look impressive last month over in Ireland when winning by six lengths at Gowran Park. That race was a completely different challenge than what the National presents, but if he can replicate that kind of form here in the National, he could well be in with a chance.

Taking Ain’t That A Shame to win looks like a decent bet here, despite never having raced here and being the shortest price of all 40 Grand National runners. There are plenty of talented horses in the race, with Corach Rambler, Delta Work and Noble Yeats the biggest names, but Ain’t That A Shame looks a credible horse to perhaps even win the 2023 Grand National.
