Brentford vs Bournemouth Tip 1: Brentford to win @ 3/4 with BetUK

Thomas Frank’s Brentford are now four games into the season, and are yet to suffer defeat. The Bees advanced to the third round of the Carabao Cup in midweek, and have drawn against Crystal Palace and Tottenham in the league, and have also beaten Fulham.

We at SportsLens are predicting that Brentford’s unbeaten run will be extended at the weekend, with a comfortable win over a lacklustre looking Bournemouth.

The Cherries have amassed just one point in the Premier League thus far this term, when they drew against West Ham on the opening day, and have suffered defeats to Liverpool and Spurs since.

They did however come from behind against Championship outfit Swansea City to advance in the Carabao Cup in midweek, but we don’t see this holding much bearing on their return to English top flight action on Saturday.

Last season’s meeting at the Gtech Community Stadium adds further hope to a Brentford triumph, as the Bees dispatched their south coast counterparts with a comfortable 2-0 scoreline in mid-January, and we’re predicting a similar feat to be achieved this time too.

Brentford vs Bournemouth Tip 2: Bryan Mbeumo to score anytime @ 13/10 with BetUK

Having failed to score in his last league outing against Crystal Palace, we’re backing Bryan Mbeumo to get back on the scoresheet when Bournemouth visit the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday.

The Cameroonian has three goals to his name in the Premier League already this term, bagging twice against Fulham, and once against Tottenham – with two of those coming from the spot.

He also slotted away his penalty in the shootout against Newport in the Carabao Cup in midweek, where he was introduced as a substitute on the 62 minute mark.

As Mbeumo is Brentford’s designated penalty taker, the likelihood of him scoring at anytime is heightened drastically, and at 13/10 – we’re backing him to do just that, whether that be from open play, or from the penalty spot.
