Newmarket Racing Tips: Godolphin Set To Dominate The Early July Festival Races On Friday
As we head into Friday at the Newmarket July Festival the opening three races are dominated by blue as the Godolphin camp, who had the first winner on day one, and are likely to have the first three favourites running in their famous silks.
Therefore, the trio are sure to figure in many punter’s Newmarket racing tips for day two.
In the opener at 1:50, they’ve got the favourite in Tagabawa, but also have a nice back-up in the shape of Local Dynasty – so a blue 1-2 could even be on the cards.
Then, in the Group Two Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes (2:25) their exciting Star Of Mystery will be all the rage to win her third race after romps at Haydock and Newmarket in her last two outings.
The Godolphin three-timer could then be landed with the Saeed Bin Suroor-trained Live Your Dream (3:00) – a race the owners have won twice since 2018 and this horse took in 2021.

This 6 year-old landed this race in 2021 and is still showing a love for his racing two years on. Live Your Dream has got a very consistent profile with 10 top three finishes from 12 starts (4 wins) and was last seen running a decent third at Royal Ascot in the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes over 1m4f. The step back up in trip here is a plus and Godolphin have also won this race twice since 2018.
