Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva is reportedly nearing a move to the Saudi Pro League despite being heavily linked to both PSG and Barcelona.

Reports from Spain have claimed that Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva is close to finalising a move to the Saudi Pro League.

Silva had been heavily linked with a return to Ligue 1 with PSG, but had also been linked with a switch to Spain with Barcelona.

However, Marca are now reporting that both sides are set to miss out on the Portugal international, with a sensational move to Saudi Arabia now looking the more likely outcome.

Silva’s contract at the Etihad Stadium runs until the summer of 2025, but his exit this summer has been tipped for many months.

Barcelona and PSG have both previously approached City with bids for the 28-year-old, but for Pep Guardiola’s side to decline their offers.

Now though, it has been reported that City would not stand in the way of Silva’s exit if he still wished to depart, only if their valuation for him was met though.

Having played part in an iconic run to secure a treble this term, Silva now looks set to follow Ilkay Gundogan out the door this summer.

Gundogan is reportedly set to join La Liga giants Barcelona, whilst Silva may become the next star to make the Saudi switch.

Cristiano Ronaldo famously joined Al-Nassr earlier this year, followed by Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante in recent weeks who have joined league champions Al-Ittihad.

Ruben Neves has also reportedly completed his move to the up-and-coming league, whilst Hakim Ziyech, Edouard Mendy and Kalidou Koulibaly have all heavily been linked with moves.
