Bundesliga side RB Leipzig have reportedly held talks with Manchester United over the prospective transfer of Swedish international Anthony Elanga amid rumours of his exit.
According to reports, RB Leipzig have held talks with Manchester United over the transfer of Anthony Elanga.
The Swedish international has been linked with an Old Trafford exit ahead of the summer window, and now Leipzig, among other sides, are reportedly interested.
Bundesliga journalist Florian Plettenberg broke the news on his Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon.
“News, Anthony Elanga can leave Manchester United in the summer.” he tweeted.
“Talks with RB Leipzig took place but it’s not advanced.
“Many other clubs have inquired about him. He’s in the market.
“Price expectation: €15-20m.”

Elanga has had a poor season by all accounts, failing to score in any of his 26 appearances.
16 of his appearances have come in the Premier League, where he has managed to record one assist, as well as another in the Carabao Cup.
The 21-year-old has reportedly been left ‘frustrated’ with his lack of game-time under Erik ten Hag.
Marcus Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho have all been preferred to Elanga under Ten Hag this term.
A 10-time Sweden international, Elanga will likely have to depart the Red Devils in order to get his career back on track, as he now looks surplus to requirements.
