Top 3 Grand National Each-Way Tips At Aintree
Longhouse Poet to PLACE @ 7/2 to WIN @ 25/1
Longhouse Poet impressed everyone in last year’s National when finishing fourth, including many punters an horse racing experts out there. He travelled superbly 12 months ago and there are plenty of good reason to think he can produce a similar run this afternoon and expend his energy more evenly this time around.
At odds of 25/1 to win outright and with all of our bookmakers paying six places on the steeple chase, backing Longhouse Poet each-way looks like he could be well worth an each-way punt.
Lifetime Ambition to PLACE @ 5/1 to WIN @ 40/1
Lifetime Ambition for legendary trainer Willie Mullins with Danny Mullins in the saddle looks to have leading each-way claims here in the big one.
His credentials defy convention, but more often than not the Grand National throws up huge surprises. Jockey Sean O’Keeffe takes the ride here today for trainer John Harrington, with the 8-year-old running off a mark of 158 (11st 3lbs).
Roi Mage to PLACE @ 4/1 to WIN @ 28/1
Our third and final Grand National each-way betting tip is that Roi Mage could play a huge part in the 5.15pm featured race at Aintree. The 11-year-old boasts some strong form coming into the National with a second and two third place finishes in his last four starts.
The Patrick Griffin-trained French gelding runs off 10st 8lbs and certainly has each-way claims here. Has mainly campaigned over in France but has transitioned well since racing in the UK and Ireland in recent starts. Big chance.
